An urban planning project with a team of three designers that had the goal of improving Rossio Station. The work had the main accomplishment of being able to perceive what is urban planning/design and how it functions , together with brand creation and team management. The skills that were learned and acquired were Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, and MIRO.
The team of three designers, myself included, created the brand RLX focused on creating improvements by the means of efficiency and nature. The materials and methods implemented were plants in the stairway and columns, colorful lights in the glass doors and ceiling, directional lines, fountains around the stairs, informational boards, ticket machines, more seating areas and the inclusion of ramps at the entrance.
An app was developed to further assist the person navigating through the station with augmented reality offering additional information, example with the directional lines, and little animations when presented with the lights and water. In conjunction with the app, an animation was created to promote RLX message.
