An assignment where we were to pick an article from a selection of magazines and create an illustration from it with the condition of combining various methods of design. The article chosen was “LSD Capitalism Promises a Bad Trip for Us All”.
The illustration I went with was of a mouth that has a dollar bill on its tongue to resemble how a person takes an LSD sticker while LSD stickers fly around the page like confetti on a psychedelic background that distorts on itself. The intended message was to portray Capitalism as a bad trip that the user, this case being the mouth, takes.
